Witches are mortal beings with the ability to manipulate magic. A witch can be either male or female and good or evil. Witches first began to harness magical energies in the viking times.
Witches who were born with the ability to manipulate magic are refered to as 'natural witches', while witches who weren't born with the ability are refered to as 'practitioners'. Witches have existed for many centuries, passing down their knowledge and skills through generations of family lines.
Powers and AbilitiesEdit
All natural witches have inherit abilities such as spell casting and potion making. How powerful the spell or potion is depends on how much energy a witch is able to draw from nature.
Many witches have special active powers in addition to their inherit abilities. Their bloodlines and personalities often delegate which powers they get. For example, each member of the Warren line inherit one of the three powers Melinda Warren possessed (Telekinesis, Molecular Immobilization, and Premonition). Warren witches who possess Telekinesis are often head strong and authoritive, while users of Molecular Immobilization are often heartfelt and anxious, and Premonition is often granted to witches who are free spirits.
Dark witches are witches who ignore the Wiccan Rede. They aren't necessarily evil, though they often tap into dark magics.
